Embanked enlcosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Roxborough, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a gentle south-facing slope where a grass-covered circle measures sixty-seven and a half metres east-west and sixty-six and a half metres north-south. A slight earthen bank runs from the southwest through the west to the northeast, separated by a complete but overgrown fosse from an outer bank that disappears toward the east. A five-metre-wide causeway cuts the southern edge, while a small grass-covered cairn sits northwest of the centre and a larger enclosure lies two hundred and fifty metres to the west.
On a gentle S-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 67.5m E-W; 66.6m N-S) defined by a slight earthen bank (Wth 4.7-5.1m; int. H 0.2-0.3m) SW-W-NE separated by a complete and rounded but overgrown fosse (Wth of top 7.4-10.2m; Wth of base 3.2-4.7m; int. D 0.8-1.7m; ext. D 1.1-1.25m) from a slight outer earthen bank (Wth 4.3-5.3m; ext. H 0.1-0.3m) which is absent ENE-SE (max. ext. diam. 90m N-S; 87.7m E-W). There is a causeway (Wth 5m) at S and a small grass-covered clearance cairn (RO040-001002-) (diam. 5m; H 0.35m) NW of the centre. The large enclosure (RO039-024----) is c. 250m to the W.
