Kilkeevin

Kilkeevin preserves a hollow church ghost inside a vast circular graveyard, marking sacred ground long before modern memory. The lost building remains visible only through a short wall, a narrow doorway, and a broken gable, yet loose stone still traces its rectangular footprint above the River Suck. The place resists easy explanation: part church, part boundary, part absence, it keeps the shape of worship even when the worship has disappeared.
