What is recorded here

Indicated is a battered fairy fort on a Galway rise, its shallow bank still tracing a wide circle through pasture. Cattle walk across the stone-faced ridge now, treating ancient boundary as mere grass. The forgotten passage beneath the north half still waits for footsteps that remember why the field was shaped.

On a gentle rise in pastureland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (44.5m N-S; 40m E-W) defined by a low bank (base Wth 4.5m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.6m) that is clearly visible from SE through W to NNE. A field wall cuts through the monument at NNE and SE and to the E of it some traces of the bank are evident. Stone-facing is visible on both faces of the bank at NW and on the inner face at N. No trace of the fosse survives.
