Gateway, made c.1800, comprising double pair of square-profile ashlar limestone piers with limestone copings and rounded caps having gabled appearance to front, flanking double-leaf cast-metal vehicular gate and flanking pedestrian gates, with adjoining cast-metal railings on cut limestone plinths and terminating in square-profile tooled limestone piers with plinths and copings.
This fine entranceway, formerly belonging to another house, is distinguished by its quadrant plan with paired piers, the middle ones having eyecatching caps.
