Standing stone in Rodeen is a one-metre rectangular stone leaning slightly south on a grassy knoll above Berehaven Harbour. It faces the water and Bere Island, marking a place where people may have watched ships, weather or death arrive from the sea. The stone still stands in rough pasture, unchanged since before records began.
In rough hill pasture, on the summit of a knoll, on the lower S-facing slopes of Maulin overlooking Berehaven Harbour and Bere Island. This standing stone (1.25m x 0.4m; H 1m) is roughly rectangular in plan and section and is orientated NNE-SSW. The stone leans slightly to the SSW.

Probably dating to the Late Neolithic or Bronze Age, this standing stone may have had ritual or territorial significance, possibly aligned with landscape features or celestial events. Local folklore sometimes associates such stones with ancient watchposts or markers for seasonal herding routes.
