Grave Yard holds the ruins of Rochestown Church inside a trapezoidal stone wall in County Limerick, where coarse grass still covers burials dating back to 1826. The wrought-iron gate stands between limestone piers at the south-east corner, admitting visitors into a quiet box of memory rather than a polished monument. Its unchanged shape and continuing use suggest that death, like pasture, returns to the same place under different names.

In level pasture. Rochestown Church ruins (LI023-002001-) in centre of trapezoidal-shaped graveyard (L 22m at W; L 57m at N; L 34m at E; L 54m at S) enclosed by mortared stone wall. Entrance gate, at E-end of S-wall, of wrought iron flanked by limestone piers. Interior covered by coarse grass. Earliest headstone noted dated 1826. Still in occasional use for burial.
