Mound in Robswalls was a grass-covered burial place near Robswalls castle in County Dublin. Local tradition claims it holds victims of a shipwreck, turning a quiet field into a witness of sea disaster. The mound no longer has a precise location, but the story keeps its shape: the coast gave up people, and the land closed over them.

According to Mc Dix (1897, 137, 147) there was a grass-covered mound close to Robswalls castle (DU012-006----). Local tradition records that it contained victims of a shipwreck (Flanagan, 1984, 117). Not precisely located. Compiled by: Geraldine Stout Date of upload: 26 August 2011
