In 1972 a man's bones emerged from Ratoath soil during house foundations, ninety centimetres beneath the living world. He had waited decades or centuries in darkness while others built and forgot above him. The precise spot has vanished, leaving only his skeleton and the sudden interruption of domestic joy.

In 1972 human remains were discovered while digging foundations for a house (D 0.90m) at Ratoath but the precise location is not known. They represent the remains of an adult male (Cahill & Sikora 2011, vol. 2, 504). Compiled by: Geraldine Stout Date of upload: 13 March 2013
