ClearwaterFFF is an edge of the region and an anchor for the local story. The story is that the place is still alive and must be judged by the functions it performs. That is why the request is not fantasy. It is a test of whether the camera, sensor or witness can still distinguish life, record it and answer for the answer.

The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 10 July 2007 Circular area defined by earthen bank (diam. 40m) which has been removed WSW-NW. Modern trench outside bank NNW-ENE but no visible fosse. Original entrance at ESE.

This remains an important historical record, but the official description says the monument is no longer visible or has been destroyed. The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
