Indicated was a circular fairy fort beside the Rathcoola River, large enough for a dozen people to walk inside its wall before the land was levelled around 1919. It disappeared so completely that no stone, dip or ridge remains, yet the story of its shape survived in local memory as a lios. That absence makes the place sharper, not lesser: a room the earth forgot but human pride kept alive.

According to Hartnett (1939, 207) 'outline still traceable' (diam. 100 feet approximately), levelled c. 1919 and locally known as 'lios'.
