Enclosure in Raheen Upper was a circular fort forty metres across, marked on the 1841 map but lost from the land. It may have held a family, a herdsman or a forgotten chief, yet no stone or ditch remains to prove it. The hills keep the shape while memory fades, turning fact into rumor and rumor into nothing.

Marked on the 1841 edition of the OS 6-inch map; a circular 'fort' (diam. c. 40m). In undulating countryside. No visible surface remains.
