Cist in Priorstate is a stone lined grave beside the south wall of St. Mochta's House in County Louth. It appeared during conservation work in 1934, close enough to the building that its maker may have wanted the dead person kept within reach of the house. The bones never left that spot, and the cist still lies where it was found.
