What is recorded here

Situated on a slight hill in a low-lying area. This is probably a shale stone with a rectangular cross-section (dims. 0.55m x 0.15m; H 1.6m) and a rough finish, oriented NE-SW. The possible standing stone (WA002-027002-) is c. 110m to the SW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
