Parkalassa Fort is a buried ringfort on a steep Cork slope, its twenty-metre circle hidden beneath pasture and forgotten time. The earthen bank still stands, stone-faced against the northwest wind, but grass and shadow have swallowed the interior. It may have been a home, a refuge or a boundary marker for people whose names never reached us. Whatever it was, the land kept it quiet, and the quiet still holds.

In pasture, on steep S-facing slope. Circular area (diam. c. 20m) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.4m), stone-faced on outside to NW. Bank and interior completely overgrown; access not gained.
