What is recorded here

The site (Wth 1m min.; D 0.2m) consists of a deposit of brushwood interspersed with beds of twigs. Most of the elements are orientated approximately N-S. The deposit is up to three pieces deep, and the pieces (diam. 0.01-0.045m) are in good condition. There are two small pieces of gravel evident in the centre of the site and a chisel point was recorded. The site is set in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with some Eriophorum and ericaceous remains with a higher proportion of ericaceous remains surrounding the site. This site is located immediately to the NE of SMR WM039-329---- and SMR WM039-330---- and 3.3m SW of SMR WM039-325----. Date of upload: 21 August 2013
