Terraced two-bay three-storey house, extant 1839, on a rectangular plan with shopfront to ground floor. Now disused. Pitched slate roof with clay ridge tiles, red brick Running bond chimney stack (east) having corbelled stepped capping supporting terracotta pots, and cast-iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves retaining cast-iron octagonal or ogee hoppers and downpipes. Rendered, ruled and lined wall to front (south) elevation with rusticated rendered piers to ends. Timber shopfront to ground floor. Square-headed window openings in tripartite arrangement (upper floors) with cut-granite sills, timber mullions, and concealed dressings framing one-over-one timber sash windows having one-over-one sidelights. Street fronted with concrete brick cobbled footpath to front.

A house representing an integral component of the domestic built heritage of Bunclody with the architectural value of the composition suggested by such attributes as the rectilinear plan form; and the diminishing in scale of the openings on each floor producing a graduated tiered visual effect with those openings showing tripartite glazing patterns. Having been well maintained, the elementary form and massing survive intact together with substantial quantities of the original fabric, both to the exterior and to the interior, including a shopfront of artistic interest making a pleasing visual statement in The Mall or Main Street at street level.
