Earthwork in Newtown (roscommon By.) is an earthwork in Newtown (roscommon By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. The 1915 edition of the OS 6-inch map marked a circular enclosure with an external diameter of about 45m, though it may have been a quarry only. The low-lying level landscape no longer shows the earthwork at ground level because a small pond occupies the site. Rath (RO028-028----) lies about 160m to the south-southwest.
