Embanked enclosure

Marked as a rectangular embanked or moated enclosure (ext. dims. c. 50m E-W; c. 45m N-S) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a slight E and SE-facing slope. This is a square grass-covered depression (dims c. 50m x c. 50m) rising slightly in the centre.
