Terraced two-bay two-storey house, c.1850, possibly incorporating fabric of earlier house, pre-1840, on site. Refenestrated, c.1950. Pitched slate roof with clay or terracotta ridge tiles, red brick Running bond (shared) chimney stack, and cast-iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves having iron ties. Roughcast walls on rendered base with rendered strips to ends to ground floor supporting rendered stringcourse to first floor. Square-headed window openings with cut-stone sills, rendered surrounds, and replacement one-over-one timber sash windows, c.1950. Square-headed door opening in camber-headed recess with two steps, slightly splayed reveals, and replacement glazed timber panelled door, c.1950. Street fronted with concrete footpath to front.

A small-scale house contributing positively to a modest streetscape quality in Michael Street. Having traditionally been well maintained, the house continues to present an early aspect with most of the historic fabric surviving in place, thereby upholding the positive impression made on the character of the street scene.
