End-of-terrace two-bay two-storey house, c.1900. Extensively renovated. One of a group of at least two. Pitched (shared) roof with replacement artificial slate, terracotta ridge tiles, red brick Running bond chimney stack having stepped capping, rendered coping, and rainwater goods on replacement timber eaves. Replacement rendered walls. Square-headed window openings with cut-stone sills, and one-over-one timber sash windows. Square-headed door opening in elliptical-headed recess with replacement timber panelled door. Street fronted with concrete footpath to front.

An amiable small-scale house possibly originally sponsored by the local authority as one of a group of at least two units (remainder in group not included in survey) making a pleasing impression on the modest streetscape in Bewley Street. Having been reasonably well maintained, the house remains as the last in the group to present an early aspect with the understated design attributes surviving in place together with a quantity of the historic of original fabric, thereby upholding some of the character or integrity of the collective ensemble in the street scene.
