Recumbent graveslab (L 2.05m; top Wth 0.55m; base Wth 0.46m) of probable 17th century date located 2.3m S of 17th century graveslab (WM019-089022-) in W quadrant of All Saints graveyard (WM019-089017-) adjacent to boundary wall. Inscription on graveslab is difficult to decipher but appears to read 'PRAY FOR THE SOULES OF THADY KANNY AND HIS ---. Described by the Urban Survey of Westmeath (Bradley et. al. 1985, 118) as a ‘rectangular slab (dims. H 2.03m; Wth 0.56m) decorated with a Latin cross relief. Fragmentary inscription: in low false PRA... OR THE SOVL/ ES OF THADEUS .V./ AND HIS WIFE R CC’. Fragment of graveslab of possible 17th century date with partial inscription visible at W end of recumbent slab standing up against E face of graveyard boundary wall.
