What is recorded here
Childrens Burial Ground is a vanished marker inside a Galway rath, named on an 1838 map but absent from modern sight. The survey preserves the label while admitting the ground itself has disappeared. Memory, not soil, holds the children now.
Within a rath (GA108-206----). Named 'Children's Burial Ground' on the 1838 edition of the OS 6-inch map; no visible surface trace survives.
