Morett 14 held a young adult, probably female, stretched flat in a narrow cut only sixteen centimetres deep. The M7 works exposed her in County Laois, forty-seven metres from another burial, revealing that forgotten people still lie beneath ordinary Irish fields.

New monument uncovered during excavation by Jonathan Dempsey under licence number 03E1367 in advance of the M7 Heath-Mayfield motorway scheme. Morett 14 was 47m WSW of Morett 13 (LA008-055). This skeleton of a young, probably female, adult was orientated N-S. It was in an extended supine position. The skeleton had been placed in a linear grave-cut with irregular edges, measuring 1.6m N-S by 0.55m by 0.16m deep (Bennett 2006, 296). Compiled by: Caimin O'Brien Date of upload: 17 December 2007
