Moated site in Kilmore (kinalmeaky By.)

In level pasture c. 50m N of River Sall. Sub-rectangular area (27.4m E-W; 22m N-S) enclosed by low earthen bank (H 0.35m); external fosse (D 0.30m) on E and S sides. Second bank (H 0.6m) outside fosse to E. Field clearance material dumped in interior and in fosse to N. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
