In reclaimed pasture 150m SW of the townland boundary with Ballynamona. Moated site (LI049-066----) lies 100m to S. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified as a rectangular cropmark during examination of aerial photographs (BGE 1/5000, 78) taken 03/11/1984 on the Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline. Visible as a rectangular cropmark (dims. c. 180m N-S x 100m E-W) on Google Earth orthoimage dated 14/09/2019. No surface remains visible on Google Earth orthoimage dated 21/06/2021.
