In rough heather-covered pasture, on the SW-facing slope of Mangerton Mountain. The remains of an oval hut site (2.8m E-W; 2m N-S) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.5m; H 0.4m). The S portion of the interior is raised (H 0.15m) and the N portion is cut (D 0.5m) into the upslope to compensate for the hillslope. Loose stones are scattered on the downslope externally. There is an enclosure (KE085-024001-) and two hut sites (KE085-024008-, KE085-024009-) c. 28m to the NW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
