Closed now, but once a trench cut the northeast side of the ringfort, sloping toward Clashavoon stream like a mouth waiting for water or people. Coleman saw a collapsed passage in 1947; locals still point to the depression as if the ground remembered being hollow. Whatever went through it, the earth has taken it back.

In NE quadrant of ringfort (CO060-123001-). Coleman (1947, 71) noted a 'trench which looks like a collapsed Man-made underground passage'. Now closed up, but according to local information, depression leading SE from ringfort towards Clashavoon stream is associated with possible Man-made underground passage.
