Loumanagh North hid a man-made underground passage near its fort, but the entrance vanished before anyone could measure it. That sudden disappearance turns the claim into a warning about trust: what cannot be pointed at must be judged by the clarity of the witness and the consistency of the account.

According to Bowman (1934, 518), 'it is said a Man-made underground passage was found near fort [CO030-001---], no sign is now to be seen'. Exact location not known.
