In pasture, on W-facing slope. Depicted as circular area (diam. c. 25m) defined by broken line on 1937 OS 6-inch map, in corner of field. Corner of field (19m E-W; 17.6m N-S) now enclosed by low linear earthen banks (int. H 0.55m; ext. H 0.58m) to S and W, with external fosse (D 0.47m). Probably fort recorded by Bowman (1934, 518) as levelled on M. Murphy's land, the site of which 'has been ploughed many times'.
