What is recorded here

No visible basin, only a long black scar in the pasture beside marshy ground. Heat and water may have worked there before the ringfort rose, but the earth kept the shape while forgetting the purpose.

In pasture, c. 100m NE of ringfort (12534). Elongated mound of burnt material (11.4m N-S; 4m E-W; H 0.45m); marshy ground immediately to N and W.
