Man-made underground passage in Loughquin

NMI files record a Man-made underground passage, found c. 1935, consisting of four chambers 'flagged and the roofs all stone; fragments of bone found underneath one flagstone'. Exact location not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
