Five clear cupmarks press into the south-east edge of an isolated rock outcrop in County Donegal. The stone projects proudly from the field beside a standing stone, waiting for human hands to reveal what moss and age have hidden. They may have marked a boundary, recorded a gift or simply given rainwater a place to collect. The untouched rock around them suggests the marks are not the whole story.

Described by Van Hoek as 'South of the main group is a standing stone (DG004-047). To the NW of this standing stone and still in the same field is an isolated rock outcrop, prominently projecting from the field. On a SE edge is a cluster of five clear cupmarks.
