Enclosure in Loughkent West is an enclosure in Loughkent West, County Tipperary, Ireland. It occupies a circular area 65 metres north-south and 64 metres east-west in level pasture west of a two-storey farmhouse. An earth and stone bank 3.8 metres wide, 0.5 metres high internally and 1.2 metres high externally, runs east through south to west and north, while a scarp takes its place from north through north-northeast to east. A possible 4-metre entrance faces east and a 6-metre gap faces south-southwest.
In generally level pasture to W of 2-storey farmhouse and yard. Circular area (dims. 65m N-S; 64m E-W) defined by earth and stone bank (Wth 3.8m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1.2m) E-S-W-N, which has been reduced to scarp N-NE-E. Possible entrance (Wth 4m) at E and gap (Wth 6m) at SSW. Crannog, possible (TS069-072----) located c. 490m to NNE.
