Cropmark of levelled tree-ring in grassland visible on 2013-2018 MapGenie satellite imagery.  Found as part of an assessment of a nearby afforestation licence application. Circular cropmark with an internal diameter of 19m. Recorded on the 25-inch OS map. Located some 88m W of a ringfort (WM015-027----). May also be a tree-ring associated with Littletown House (in ruins) or Lodge (demolished)? There may also be a possible road running in a curvilinear direction around this feature leading to a castle site (WM015-016----). Clearly visible on aerial photographs. On the 6-inch OS map this is depicted as a wooded area.
