Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Lissadorn, County Roscommon, Ireland. It sits on the east-facing slope of a slight ridge and preserves three concentric earthen banks separated by two fosses. A field bank cuts across the northeast edge, while another rath lies about 180m to the west.
Towards the top of the E-facing slope of a slight E-W ridge. Circular overgrown area (diam. c. 40m) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 5.3-6.3m; int. H 0.7-0.9m; ext. H 1.3-1.6m) separated by a fosse (Wth of top 4.5-6m; Wth of base 3.5-4.5m) E-S-NW from an overgrown middle bank (Wth 3.7-5m; int. H 0.3-1.1m; ext. H 0.4-1.1m) E-S-NW. There is a second fosse (Wth of top 3.2-3.7m Wth of base 2.5-3.2m) and a third outer overgrown bank (Wth 3.2-3.7m; int. H 0.6-1m; ext. H 0.4-0.8m) ESE-S-NW. There is no visible entrance, and a NW-SE field bank truncates all the defining features at NE. Rath (RO016-106----) is c. 180m to the W.
