What is recorded here
Lispopple is a place where a windmill still stands, though no map has ever marked its exact position. Simington wrote in 1945 that the mill was in use, yet the village has kept its location like a secret. The wind may have turned its sails while people forgot where to look.
Simington (1945, 47) mentions a 'mill in use' in Lispopple townland in the parish of Ballyboghill. Not precisely located.
