Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Lisgrew stands at the north end of a drumlin ridge in County Monaghan, Ireland. Its double earthen banks and broken fosses still mark a circular space where people once lived, worked and perhaps fled. The overgrown ground keeps that shape intact, inviting imagination about the hands that built it and the days it witnessed.

: Located at the N end of a NNW-SSE drumlin ridge. This is a circular overgrown area (diam. 30.4m WNW-ESE; 28m NNE-SSW) that slopes down slightly to the N, which is defined by an earthen bank (Wth 1m) separated by a fosse (Wth 2m) from a larger outer bank (Wth 3m) and second external fosse (Wth 2m), although the external fosse is absent N-E. There are entrances at SW and N, but the original entrance through the inner (Wth 4.6m) and outer (Wth 3.1m) banks with causeways over the inner (Wth 4m) outer (Wth 4m) fosses and is at ESE.
