Fairy fort in Lisabuck, County Monaghan: a subcircular earthen ringfort, 42m by 35m, set towards the south end of a short drumlin ridge. Its bank stands about 2m high outside, dips to 0.6m inside, and shows a stone-faced scarp on the east; a shallow outer fosse survives best on the north and west. The entrance is no longer certain, and scrub has thickened since 1968. People may have lived, hidden or marked boundary here before the field closed over the work.

Located towards the S end of a short N-S drumlin ridge. This is a subcircular grass and scrub-covered area (dims 42m NNW-SSE; 35m ENE-WSW) defined by an earthen bank (Wth of base c. 3m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 2m) NW-N that is reduced to a scarp (at E: H 2.2m) with evidence of an outer stone facing elsewhere, and an outer fosse (Wth of base c. 2.5m; ext. D `c. 0.5m) NW-N that is much reduced N-E. The original entrance is not identified. The monument has become overgrown since 1968 (OSAP).
