Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Lavallyconor

Lavallyconor holds a broken oval cashel on a rise, its drystone wall collapsed and partly buried under a later field boundary. The shape still measures twenty-eight metres across, large enough for people, stock or memory, even though the wall no longer stands complete. Local names call it a fairy fort, which suggests humans once believed the site belonged elsewhere or should be left alone.
