What is recorded here

Gallan was a standing stone in West Cork, lost when men removed it around 1982. It stood on a north-facing slope, likely marking boundary, prayer or memory before human ambition erased it. The land keeps no visible trace, but absence does not mean forgetting. What is taken from the earth still shapes the people who took it.
