Hut site in Knocknabro

In rough heather-clad hill pasture, on a S-facing slope overlooking the valley of the Clydagh River. The remains of a circular hut (diam. 2.2m) defined by an intermittent, grass-covered, stone wall (T 0.55m; H 0.15m). The S portion of the interior is raised (H 0.5m) and the N portion is cut (H 0.2m) into the upslope to compensate for the hillslope and create a level interior. Rubble is scattered downslope to the S. There is an enclosure (KE076-009----) c. 15m to the W and a hut site (KE076-009004-) c. 9m to the E. A relict field wall (KE076-009008-) is 15m to the W.
