Situated on N facing slope of a steep sided hillock in grassland, with good views from NW-NE. Ringfort (WM012-179----) 100m to S. A raised sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 45m N-S; 48m E-W) enclosed by a low earthen bank and a shallow external fosse. The bank is best preserved from N-E-SE and from SE-SSW and reduced to a scarp elsewhere. Traces of cultivation ridges are visible running WNW-ESE across the interior, which slopes to the N. A field fence running E-W bisects the N half of the monument.
