Kilmoylan Graveyard in County Limerick holds the church ruins at its centre within a stone-walled rectangle measuring roughly 38 by 61 metres. The eastern gate opens onto graves that have watched the land since before the wall rose after 1700. People may have prayed inside the ruined church, buried their dead beside it, and walked home through the same gate still standing today.
Kilmoylan church ruins (LI019-100001-) stands in centre of graveyard which consists of a subrectangular-shaped area (approx. dims. 38m N-S x 61m NE-SW) enclosed by post-1700 stone wall with entrance gate at E.
