Grave Yard occupies the floor of the Glenfarne valley in County Leitrim, where a church listed in the Register of Clonmacnoise probably stood within its older subrectangular section. The place has grown southward under modern masonry walls, yet the northern part still overlays a grass-covered oval ecclesiastical enclosure. Death, memory and continuity belong together there, marked by boundary, burial and the patience of ground.

Situated in an undulating landscape on the floor of the Glenfarne valley. The church listed in the Register of Clonmacnoise (LE012-013001-) (O'Donavan1857, 451) was probably located within the subrectangular graveyard (dims c. 50m N-S; c. 40m E-W) depicted on the 1835 and 1910 eds of the OS 6-inch map where it is described as a Burial Ground on both. The graveyard has been extended to the S (dims c. 90m NNE-SSW; 37m WNW-ESE) defined by modern masonry walls, but the older N part is overlying a grass-covered oval ecclesiastical enclosure (LE012-013003-).
