Burnt pit in Killoran (Moyne parish) is a burnt pit in Killoran (Moyne parish), County Tipperary, Ireland. The oblong pit measured 2.5 metres long, 1.3 metres wide and 0.3 metres deep on a sandy glacial knoll near Killoran house to the west. Soil stripping for a sand and gravel quarry exposed the pit, whose base held charred timbers and charcoal while its north face showed fire reddening from in situ burning. The fill contained small and medium limestone boulders in silty clay and charcoal, yielding two coarse wheel-turned pottery fragments and a small iron object.

Situated on a sandy glacial knoll with nearby Killoran house to the W. A burnt pit cutting on earlier linear field ditch was discovered during soil stripping for a sand and gravel quarry. The site consists of an oblong pit (dims. L 2.5m; Wth 1.3m; D 0.3m) the base of which contained charred timbers and charcoal. The N face of the pit was fire reddened indicating in situ burning. The pit contained a fill of small and medium sized limestone boulders within a matrix of silty clay and charcoal.
