What is recorded here

A quarter radial-split plank (L 0.66m; diam. 0.11m). It is in moderate condition. A stake (diam. 0.035m) is present in the opposing drain face set at a 70° angle. It has been worked to a pencil point with a metal tool. Both these pieces lie in moderately humified Sphagnum and Eriophorum peat. The site is located 0.62m below SMR WM039-052---- in the SE drain face. Date of upload: 09 August 2013
