St Patricks Well in County Kildare remains a live ritual site where people still gather on March 17th to drink water believed to ease pains and sore eyes. The spring sits inside a small rectangular dry stone structure with a partial roof, set in level pasture near the west foot of a low spur. A possible Early Ecclesiastical site lies about 350m to the west, hinting that this quiet corner has served devotion for centuries. The well does not need grand claims; it offers clean water, memory and the chance to leave suffering lighter behind.

According to Jackson (1979-80, 155), a Pattern is held here on March 17th and the water is believed to cure pains and sore eyes.
