What is recorded here

A piece of hazel brushwood (L 1.25m; diam. 0.02m) at the bottom of the drain face. The piece was fragmented by milling and its original position was unclear. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1993. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
