What is recorded here

The site (Wth 0.25m; D 0.04m) is composed of a single plank with two pieces of brushwood (diam. 0.02-0.055m) in the drain face. The light piece is laid alongside the plank, however, the heavy piece is situated in a different peat stratum below the other elements and therefore its association is unclear. The site may represent a disturbed togher but no direct associations with similarly composed sites in the vicinity could be discerned. The site is situated in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum and ericaceous remains. The site was dendrochronologically dated to 1059±9 BC or later (Q9528).
