Half-buried in wet pasture south of Milltown, the earthwork holds a broken ring forty-six metres wide, its gap facing south like a door left open. A ditch-barrow sits ten metres to the northeast, suggesting two ceremonies shared one damp field before memory faded. The shape emerged only through aerial photography in 1986 and reappeared unevenly in later satellite images, visible when soil moisture aligned but hidden when drainage shifted. Whatever gathering it marked, the land kept the outline long after people stopped naming it.

On low lying wet pasture, cut by land drains and watercourses, 525m SW of a townland boundary with Milltown. Ditch-barrow (LI032-244----) lies 10m to NE. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Monument identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 160.02: AP 4/3633) as a pennanular-shaped cropmark which is open to S. Monument visible as a pennanular-shaped earthwork (46m NW-SE; 45m NE-SW) defined by a scarp from SSW-W-N-E, as seen on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012, not visible on Digital Globe orthoimage 2011-2013 or on Google Earth orthoimage 20/09/2020.
